The Noble Knight Chapter Challenge
The Sigma Tau Gamma Foundation is excited to launch the second annual Noble Knight Chapter Challenge on March 1. This month-long giving challenge is a chance for our active chapters to increase support for their Chapter Fund in a fun and competitive way that engages members, alumni, and friends of Sig Tau.
Chapters will be split into three divisions and paired against another chapter within the same division. These matchups are based on last year’s giving totals. Throughout March, chapters have opportunities to compete in multiple rounds with different fundraising challenges in the hopes of earning bragging rights along with some great prizes.
How it Works
Join us for this competitive giving challenge focused on brotherly competition. All active chapters of Sig Tau are invited to participate. We’ve organized chapters into three divisions. Each round will have one winner from all three divisions.
All donations will be made and tracked through CrowdChange, an online fundraising platform that provides multiple functions and allows us to follow chapter progress in real time.
Money raised is in direct support of our members with all donations going to Chapter Funds. A Chapter Fund is a restricted account in the Foundation that may be used only for a particular chapter, meaning that if you donate to your chapter’s fund, it may only be used for your chapter! This campaign is a great way to increase the amount of money chapters have available for educational purposes like awarding scholarships and attending national leadership programs. Last year, nine new chapter funds were created thanks to the Chapter Challenge.
Rounds
This year, the Noble Knight Chapter Challenge consists of three rounds of competition running Tuesday – Sunday each week. Each round includes a new weekly challenge. The chapters that win the weekly challenges in each division will earn a prize. There will also be a grand prize for the chapters that raise the most in each division throughout the entire competition. Your matchups stay the same throughout the entire competition.
The Chapter Challenge closes on March 20 and prize winners will be announced at the end of the month.
